Dr. Lisa
H. Kluslow
Dr. Kluslow got her undergraduate
degree in Zoology, Conservation Biology and a certificate in Environmental Studies in 1993. She worked in the field
of native prairie and wetland restoration for 5 years before deciding to go back to veterinary school. Lisa graduated
from the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School in 2001, an she has practiced in the Milwaukee area since then. After
several years of practicing conventional medicine, she decided to change her focus to include some additional complementary
modalities, that would give the patient a better chance to heal themselves.
She attended the Chi Institute in Florida,
founded and taught by the reknowned Dr. Huisheng Xie, for the Canine Acupuncture course (130 hours of continuing
education) in 2004.
In 2005 she attended a 90 hour course in canine massage therapy at the Blue Sky Massage
School in Grafton, Wisconsin.
In 2006 she attended the Canine Physical Rehabilitation program at the Canine
Rehabilitation Institute in Florida (another 130 hour course).
In 2007 she enrolled in the 225 hour Veterinary
Spinal Manipulation Therapy course at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, Wisconsin taught by Dr. Pedro Rivera.
In 2010 Dr. Kluslow
attended the Traditional Chinese Herbal Veterinary Medicine course through A Time to Heal. It was a 120 hour course
focusing on herbal use in primarily canine and feline care. Throughout the last 7 years, she has also has been focusing her personal efforts on learning
as much as possible about natural nutrition, essential oils, glandular therapy, flower essences and additional natural supplements,
to complement her education.

Personally, Lisa enjoys spending as much time
outdoors as possible: hiking, backpacking, camping, hanging out by the bon fire, and spending time with her family and dogs
(Bridgette and Grace).

Dr. Kluslow is also currently on the Milwaukee
Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) executive board, and is a past representative of the
Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA).
She is also a member
